Job Description

Job Summary & Essential Functions:  

 

Manage the facility accounting functions for Monrovia and VersaCore Performance Centers and support financial operations for Gardena Performance center. Responsible for the completion of ledger accounts and financial internal and external reporting. Perform financial analyses and present findings and recommendations to management.

 

  • Ensure all facility staff are trained properly and adhere to accounting policies and procedures. Periodically review procedures for proper compliance and function.

  • Manage and perform monthly close, including all the accurals, reconciliations and review

  • Oversee internal and external finanl reporting and ensure all  financial deadlines are met

  • Manage AR/AP activities and coordinate with the shared service staff

  • Assist with Annual Operationg plan, monthly forecasting cycle, variance reporting

  • Manage the Capital acquisition process for the sites, review CIP schedules quarterly and ensure all fixed assets are updated

  • Organize and perform quarterly cycle count audit and WIP audit

  • Review labor utilization and overhead rates and effectively communicate the results to the operations

  • Audit labor hours and rates in ERP system as well as perform sales order audit quarterly

  • Support financial operations for three performance centers

  • Reserarch, prepare and respond internal audit/PWC inquies in a timely manner

  • Cordinate with tax department and outside CPA firms for tax related matters

  • Develop team members to strengthen the skills and capabilities of the local finance department.

  • Perform other assignments as required

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Solid general accounting/financial skills, including AR/AP knowledge and Cost accounting   

  • Self-starter capable of interacting effectively with internal and external customers as well as the ability to quickly identify and solve complex problems

  • Must have a strong sense of urgency and be conscientious about quality of work product

  • Candidates with a manufacturing environment experience or audit experience will receive preference

  • Understands the confidentiality and ethical standards associated with a senior financial position

  • Process-oriented thinker who can improve the overall environment and effectiveness of work flow while maintaining existing output of work product

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with all levels of management
