Equipment Maintenance Technician- 2nd Shift

Job Description

Seeking a second shift Equipment Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment uptime by working closely with machine operators. 
Job Summary & Essential Functions
Calibration on various equipment sets as assigned throughout the facility
Preventive maintenance on various equipment sets as assigned throughout the facility Generate and maintain maintenance documentation and schedules electronically, following appropriate ISO procedures for all critical equipment
Procure and maintain equipment spares as applicable by working with various vendors and purchasing
Works closely with Engineering to optimize equipment sets and work to drive continuous
improvements
Assisting in the development and implementation of the next generation equipment maintenance
programs encompassing the entire manufacturing operation
Assisting in development of maintenance training programs and deliver the training as required
Coordinate the efforts of the machine operators and maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with the established maintenance program
Adhere to the General Requirements of Team Members
Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area
Perform other assignments as required

Skills & Qualifications

Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical or similar degree desired)
Minimum five (5) years experience in equipment maintenance, preferably working with SMT placement lines and wave solder machines.
Ability to fulfill scheduled and unscheduled overtime requirements to maintain factory uptime
Willingness to travel occasionally for off-site training
Knowledge of analog and digital circuits and ability to read electrical schematics and equipment
manuals
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications, including Outlook, and Excel
Self starter with strong problem solving skills
