Job Summary & Essential Functions: Inspect mechanical equipment to assure customer standards.

      Essential Functions

% of Time

• Perform receiving inspections on raw material, inspections on processes and equipment, in-process inspections and final inspections on completed assemblies per documentation and record results.


• Complete rejected material disposition (MRR) paperwork and process for approvals.


• Advise supervisor of problems encountered and make recommendations for solutions and for improvements in functional areas.


• Perform other assignments as required


• Recommend changes in documentation to ensure high quality results

  • Thorough knowledge of dimension and tolerance as required by in-house and/or customer drawings.

  • Ability to comprehend and use applicable workmanship or other acceptability standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering assembly drawings

  • Intermediate level computer proficiency including e-mail, Word, and Excel

  • Ability to operate basic equipment used in inspection process

  • Abilities listed in the General Requirements of Team Members
