Job Summary

  • Review of Documentation (DANs) and new Process and Routing Sheets
  • Key participant for executing various 1st 2nd and 3rd party audits and validations. This is to ensure QMS improvements and confirm various elements of compliance.
  • Perform reviews and updates of Quality procedures. Create Dan’s requested by Quality Assurance to maintain various Quality procedures and work instructions
  • Perform other assignments as requested, including root cause corrective action activities, assisting and supporting special projects and tasks as necessary
  • QA representative at meetings as required
  • Contract Review per QAOP 4.3
  • Support preparation and execution of various Quality meetings e.g. (Internal Quality Meeting, Management Review and customer review meetings).
  • Perform other assignments as required
  • Conduct On-the -Job training for Quality team members to internal and industry standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes together with work measurement and work standards
  • Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings required
  • Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities. Understanding of DOE, 6-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing desired
  • Intermediate level of computer skills in email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Project and MRP/ERP
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers and project company image to attract business
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills together with demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment

Required Experience and Education

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in maintaining production and inventory control standards in a manufacturing setting
  • Minimum 2 years of prior experience with ISO or AS environments a plus
