Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager within the MagSeal Team is responsible for managing all existing house accounts within the North East Sales Region and responsible for managing and growing the pipeline of aerospace business development opportunities.  This individual will seek out and manage new opportunities on critical aerospace platforms (OEM and Aftermarket) with a focus on displacing competitors and tracking new business development progress.  This position requires extensive drive, along with demonstrated effective project management capability.  A key to success for this role will be to establish and sustain strong relationships on both the technical and executive level within our key accounts. 

Essential Functions:
- Identify new aerospace OEM and Aftermarket opportunities in the region.
- Exceed established sales quotas & support the executive level development of our annual targets; bookings & revenue.
- Convert inbound leads from marketing efforts to sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Management of Customer Relationship Team (inside sales) including goal setting, contract and pricing management, team development activities, department process documentation and forecasting activities tied to load capacity (Sales and Operational Planning).

Collaborative Efforts:
- Collaborate with MagSeal Engineering regarding new customer seal developments and requested design proposals.
- Collaborate and provide guidance to our Sales Representatives and Distributors regarding new aerospace business activity.

Metric Ownership:
- Collect, analyze, and present Bookings, Billings and Backlog data to upper management along with Sales Director while collaborating with Finance at site.

- Must be an effective communicator, manager and decision maker with sound judgement.
- Results oriented with a bias for action while driving standardization & simplification.

- Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to professionally influence others for necessary support of success.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in technical sales - Aerospace or high precision manufacturing preferred.
- Experience of Sales Leadership and Customer Management with a demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through new business.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentative communication skills.
- Travel is expected approximately 10-20% time.
