Job Summary & Essential Functions: Load and assist with setup and staging of product on the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines.
Essential Functions

• Perform setup and tear down on all feeders for all pick and place machines

• Cycle count all applicable components after each production run and notify stockroom of individual part count variance.

• Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines

• Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components

• Performs other duties and assignments as required
• Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.

Ability to read and understand load plans
Ability to read and understand production drawings
Basic component identification skills
Ability to build electronic assemblies
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft and Outlook programs (Excel, Word, Internet Explorer)
Ability to communicate issues in an effective manner
Ability to effectively communicate among all levels within the organization.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance with various tools including multimeter.

High School Diploma or GED
6 months printed circuit board assembly experience preferred, but not required for consideration.
Licenses, Certifications, etc.:
Completion and recertification as required of J-STD-001
Completion and recertification as required of IPC-A -610
