Job Description

***This position requires a 3-3-1 schedule 6 am-6 pm (Team C Schedule) which includes
Week 1: 3 days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
Week 2: 4 days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
80 Hours- Holiday Pay per year, 80 Hours- Vacation accumulating bi-weekly per year, 40 Hours Sick Time per year

Job Summary & Essential Functions:  

The following describes in general terms the purpose and scope of the position. Coordinates and expedites materials, parts, and assemblies between departments while supporting the department schedules as well as communicating customer centric data to Business/Program Management.
Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine part status, identify overdue, and to track material/parts through the shop.
Completes quantity changes and work order split offs as required.
Confers with engineering and quality assurance regarding planning changes, rework orders, and scrapped parts.
Monitors schedule changes in regards to coordinate which parts need expedited.
Coordinates with shipping and Program Management to make sure customer commitments are met.
Responsible for tracking and coordination of parts for a specific customer base and/or program.
Compiles information using various system functions to communicate with all departments.
Helps solve problem parts to ensure a constant flow through the shop.
Attends meetings (Required).
Understands the KPI metrics and supports the data collection for metric charts.
Performs other duties and assignments as directed.

Computer experience:MRP System, MS Word, Excel, Adobe

Ability to work independently and a good memory for detail.
Conscientious, organized and meticulous – records must be accurate and maintained
Read and understand internal procedures and policies
Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions
Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level, education, training, minimum years of experience, product or industry knowledge plus any certifications in order to be considered. 

High School Diploma; up to 3 years related experience in job function and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to operate a forklift (preferred)
Basic math skills:Measurement and Counting
Computer experience:MRP System, MS Word, Excel, Adobe

Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. 
Must have good finger dexterity for computer data entry.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Frequently required to stand; walk; sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Must be able to occasionally lift from 1 – 50 pounds.
Working conditions are:  90% manufacturing environment, 10% office environment.
Noise level is moderate.
Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions; occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and extreme heat.
Safety glasses (ANSI Z87 compliant) required in all manufacturing areas.
Hearing protection must be worn in designated areas.
Safety Footwear shall be in accordance with the following: ASTM standard F2413-05 with minimum impact resistance, compression resistance and metatarsal designation ratings of 75 foot pounds (i.e. ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Mt/75), which are viewable on the inside tag of footwear.
