Quality Analyst TEMP
Job Description
This position is responsible for auditing the Quality Management System for Monrovia. Which includes procedures, processes and training, as part of the scope.
Review and revise site procedures for AS9100D compliance. Ensure all required written documents are available and suitable to the business.
Revise Ducommun Monrovia Quality System Manual to bring up to date with current revision of AS9100D.
Review all internal process procedures and work instructions. In addition, creating standard work templates.
Manage internal and external audit processes, including the internal auditor training program for the facility.
Manage and control all quality records including but not limited to scanning, corrective action item tracking, long term storage and retrieval of records.
Participates in root cause/ corrective action process and system.
Facilitates the development of “Process” risk identification and risk mitigation plans.
Establishes effective communications channels that ensure the flow of quality related information to internal and external customers as required.
Partners with Operation leaders to develop new quality performance metrics as necessary.
Assists in development of strategic and tactical plans to ensure achievement of department and company goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication skills
Familiarity with lean manufacturing methods
BS degree or equivalent training in technical or quality areas
Five or more years in direct quality related area
