Test Engineer
Job Description
Job Summary & Essential Functions:
Provide test engineering for facility.
Manages all aspects of small projects with regular review of senior staff
Perform analysis and troubleshooting of product when not functioning to specifications
Develop testing procedures
Perform test equipment and fixture design responsibilities
Perform maintenance resolution on testing procedures and test equipment
Analyze customer requirements and develop testing procedures
Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
Perform other assignments associated with test and test department as required
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Meet all the KSA’s of Associate Test Engineer:
Basic knowledge of engineering concepts, physics, and chemistry principles
Knowledge of basic manufacturing test processes
Troubleshooting analysis and problem-solving ability
Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical
Required: able to read and interpret engineering drawings including specifications and schematics
Prior experience with an ISO environments is desired
Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities
Understanding of DOE, 6-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing desired
Working knowledge at an intermediate level of computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Project
Flexible with high energy, able to handle multiple tasks smoothly & effectively
Knowledge of Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) thermal, vibration, humidity desired
