Test Technician

Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical assemblies; per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards.

Job Summary

  • Perform tests in accordance with test procedures.
  • Document testing and record test results.
  • Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions at the component and subassembly level.
  • Solder various components to PCB Assemblies.
  • Wire and solder prototypes and other complex assemblies of unique or unusual design per applicable specifications.
  • Assemble chassis components using a variety of hardware.
  • Assemble electromechanical devices using a variety of hardware.
  • Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members.
  • Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
  • Perform other assignments as required

Skills & Qualifications

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications: 

  • Associates degree in electronics technology preferred, or 3 or more years in manufacturing setting with knowledge of products
  • 3 - 6 months experience

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills (Excel and Word).
  • Basic Access skills per location requirements
  • Ability to operate electronic test equipment specifically including oscilloscopes, function generators, and digital volt meters
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring drawings and schematic diagrams
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering assembly drawings
  • Ability to read and understand production drawings
  • Basic soldering skills
  • Ability to build electronic assemblies
  • Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members

Required Experience and Education
