Production Scheduler

Provides production support through executing kits of material, monitoring material shortages, and requesting shop floor packets.

Job Summary

  • Interfacing with all departments regarding problems or status related to sales orders, as required.
  • Entering work orders in MRP system for each manufacturing sales order
  • Creating and maintaining files related to each sales release until order closed
  • May assign and archive serial numbers for each assembly requiring serialization at some facilities
  • Initiating shop floor packets for each work order
  • Coordinating with production and other departments regarding material shortages and or other problems affecting meeting customer requirements
  • Modifying and adapting production schedules and issue changes to accommodate revisions, cancellations, and other priorities
  • Updating various production status reports
  • Adhering to General Requirements of Team Members
  • Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their
    work area.
  • Performing other assignments as required

Minimum Qualifications 

  • High School diploma required; associate’s degree preferred
  • 2-4 years related experience required
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Intermediate level computer proficiency
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and files
  • Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members
