Job Summary & Essential Functions: The following describes in general terms the purpose and scope of the position.
 Maintain technical documents and configuration control records and filling system
 Responsibilities include compiling data from various sources, data entry, creating and generating reports and other business records
 Administrator of Change Board and Configuration Control process and procedures involving evaluation, processing and incorporation of changes to technical documents and drawings
 Establish Document Control filing system of technical documents, including tooling, and maintain records and computer database pertaining to these records
 Distribute Engineering controlled document numbers for applicable reports, procedures, and orders
 Monitor and distribute latest applicable customer and industry specifications to ensure timely evaluation and records update when implemented
 Provide assistance to employees regarding change board and configuration control and respond to all Document Control inquires
 Responsible for the overall control of documents, track overdue borrowed documents and check returned documents for completeness
 Track engineering and manufacturing change activity from start to implementation
 Compile data from various sources, prepare recurring reports, graphs and charts. Generate and post data and weekly reports for functional departments and management
 Order department office supplies as required
 Operate standard office equipment
 Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks including assigned projects as required by supervisor/management for Change/Document Control and Engineering
 Act as backup for offsite database administration
 Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in work area.
 Other duties as assigned including assisting with training program administration, tracking training, uploading training documents, performing training, if applicable.

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level, education, training, minimum years of experience, product or industry knowledge plus any certifications in order to be considered.
 Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
 Excellent computer skills such as Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
 Technical writing background, technical skills, and ability to proofread planning, and review specifications for changes
 Experience implementing administrative process improvements/solutions; continuous improvement experience is a plus
 Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or aerospace preferred
 Ability to type 60 words per minute and 5 years general office experience preferred
 Must be detail oriented and possess strong organization skills, good communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all departments
